Thank you to all the boys and their parents for another great week of baseball camp!  We could not have had better weather!

  • The basics of catching and throwing
  • Footwork as a first baseman
  • Proper first step procedures for outfielders
  • How to correctly and safely slide into bases and dive back to bases.
  • Turning double plays
  • Sacrifice bunting (mechanics and timing).
  • Proper base running angles and tagging of bases.
  • Ground ball footwork and glove work.
  • Throwing progressions for proper warm-ups
  • How to properly hold a baseball
  • The mechanics and procedures of hitting.
  • The difference between amateur scouting and professional scouting
  • How scouts rate players they see
  • What high school coaches look for in players
